Julie ist internationaler Champion, Schweizer Champion, Deutscher Champion, VDH-Champion und Oesterreichischer Champion. Im weiteren ist sie Deutscher Bundessieger mit BOB 1998 in Dortmund und Schweizer Klubsieger mit BOB 1999.

The story of the Chelsea Kennels is long and began after the war, that is in the 40's and was founded by Mr. Bruno Jeker. The first Greyhound litter was born in 1951. Bruno Jeker judges sighthounds of all breeds for decades on an international scale. He also judged poultrey. Besides that he was also horseman. His wife Margrit Jeker, bred with great success Barsois' under the name "Orlow" and she was, as far as I know, the first female Jockey on the Continental's race courses. It was in Autumn of 1981 when Bruno died, in the middle of rearing a six week old litter, at the age of 74. We bought our first Greyhound in 1973 at the Chelsea Kennel, which was later followed by further two. In 1985 we drove to the international show in Bellagio in Italy with Margrit Jeker. We were very successful with our dogs. On the way home Margrit Jeker surprised us totally by offering to pass on to us the right to breed under the affix of Chelsea.

Treetops Kestrel was Bruno Jeker's second foundation bitch. In Kestrel's M-litter (sired by Alexis of Windflowers) she whelped the later World Champion Melusine of Chelsea.
Out of Melusine was Multi Champ. Valerie of Chelsea. An other World Champion out of the Chelsea Kennel was Denise of Chelsea (C'Souvenir vom Birknershof x Valerie of Chelsea) |
